1/28 Mountain View vs Highland Girls

Tonight's honorees are Haley Vennard of Highland and Kaitlin Meister of Mountain View. Haley has a 4.0 GPA, is a four year varsity player, three year starter, and hopes to become a teacher. Kaitlin has a 3.6 GPA, is a four year player, three year starter, volunteers with the Life Teen program, and helps with first graders at her church. Congratulations to Haley and Kaitlin, two outstanding scholar athletes.

2/07 Mountain View vs Highland Boys

Tonight we honor Nate Woods of Highland. Nate has a 3.85 GPA ranking 129th of 697 in his class. He is being awarded the Eagle scout this month and has given over 150 hours of community service including aid to single mothers and community clean up

1/28 Horizon vs Chaparral

Tonight's honorees are Chris Heine of Horizon and Jarett Upchurch of Chaparral. Chris has a 4.0 GPA, is a 2 year varsity letterman, is in NHS and Society of Gentleman Scholars, and volunteers as a youth basketball coach. Jarett has a 3.5 GPA, played baseball, and has been involved with Service Learning for 50 hours per semester, including a Turkey Drive for the needy and as an elementary school volunteer.

1/14 Sunnyslope vs McClintock

Tonight's honorees are Kale Tramutolo of Sunnyslope and Bryan Lobrutto of McClintock. Jake has a 4.6 GPA, is in NHS and AP Classes. Bryan has a 3.5 GPA, Basketball manager for 2 seasons and a member of the school orchastra.

1/18 Mesa vs Mountain View

Tonight's honorees are David Shockey of Mountain View and Kyler Fackrell of Mesa. David has a 4.55 GPA,  is in NHS, an Eagle Scout and a national Merit Scholar Semi-Finalist. Kyler has a 3.9 GPA, and is Wr/ Safety Football team, as well as, a Boys & Girls Club volunteer.

1/14 Dobson vs Corona

Tonight's honorees are Kyle Heck of Dobson and Brooks Tennyson of Corona. Kyle has a 4.2 GPA, and is in NHS. Brooks has a 4.0 GPA, is in NHS and works with the East Valley Boys Club.

1/12 Mountain Pointe vs Red Mountain  - Soccer

Tonight's honorees are Ariel Gnazzo-Kerry of Red Mountain and Desiree Gorham of Mountain Pointe. Ariel has a 4.3 GPA, is in NHS and We the People, and volunteers for Project Cure gathering medical supplies for people in Africa and at Banner-Gateway medical center. Desiree has a 4.0 GPA, is President of the Foreign Language Honors Society, a member of NHS, and is concert Master of the Symphony Orchestra Club Genesis. She volunteers as a pre-school tutor and for Second Saturday, a community service group.

1/07 Desert Ridge vs Skyline 

Tonight, we salute Anvil Sinsabaugh of Skyline and Ulysses Saucedo of Desert Ridge. Anvil has a 3.9 GPA and is a three sport athlete, starting on the football team and baseball team as well. He is in the Service Learning program where he has volunteered as a youth basketball counselor and an elementary school tutor. Ulysses has a 3.5 GPA, plays on the volleyball team and played freshman football, and has volunteered for the Relay for Life.

12/31 North Lawndale Prep vs Estrella Foothills

Tonight we honor Stephen Thorpe of North Lawndale Prep and Troy Coleman of Estrella Foothills. Stephen has a 3.5 GPA, runs track and cross country, and is in the Minority Men’s Club, NHS, and the Writing Club. Troy has 4.4 GPA, was second team All-State in football, is an officer in NHS, and is a volunteer youth basketball counselor. Congratulations to Stephen and Troy.

12/31 St. Mary’s vs Mesquite 

Tonight we honor Gilbert Arvizu of St. Mary’s and Jason Garretson of Mesquite. Gilbert has a 3.8 GPA, is in the National Honor Society, Columbian Squires Catholic Community Services, and organizes drives and collects for the homeless. Jason has a 3.7 GPA and has done the Zoo Walk for Autism as well as volunteering at United Food Bank handing out over 10,000 pounds of food. Congratulations to Gilbert and Jason.

12/31 McClintock vs Thunderbird

Tonight's honorees are Joel Lobrigo of Thunderbird and Derek Owens of McClintock. Joel has a 3.7 cumulative GPA in high school with a perfect 4.0 this year. He has run the 100 and 400 on the track team and has exceeded the AIMS standard in Math. Derek has a 3.6 GPA and is a returning all-region performer for the Chargers. Congratulations to Joel and Derek, two outstanding scholar athletes

12/15 Mesa vs Westwood - Soccer

Tonight’s honorees are Frank Brezczek of Mesa and Adrian Portillo of Westwood. Frank has a 4.02 GPA as a first team all-region selection a year ago. He has over 110 service learning hours and has exceeded the math and reading standards on the AIMS test and is a member of the Biotech Academy. Adrian has a 4.0 GPA, was an all-region selection last year, and is considering playing next season at Yavapai Community College. Congratulations to Frank and Adrian

12/10 Mesquite vs Brophy

Tonight, we are proud to honor Christian Bower of Mesquite and Michael Brennan of Brophy College Prep. Christian has a 3.8 GPA, is a three year starter making 2nd team all-region last season, and volunteers at St. Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church in Chandler. Michael has a 4.1 GPA, is Vice-President for National Spanish Honors Society, NHS, and volunteers for Big Brothers, YMCA, and St. Vincent DePaul. Congratulations to Christian and Michael.

12/03 Mountain Ridge vs Hamilton

Tonight’s honorees are Jonathan Wilt of Hamilton and Jared Zoller of Mountain Ridge. Jonathan has a 4.3 GPA ranking in the top 7% of his class, is Senior Class President, played freshman and JV football, and has volunteered for numerous canned food drives on campus. Jared has a 4.0 GPA, plays volleyball, is president of “Ridge Army” Club, is in DECA and Best Buddies.

11/30 St. Mary’s vs North

Tonight’s honorees are Kyle Castillo of St. Mary’s and James Tolman of North High. Kyle carries a 3.8 GPA, plays volleyball, is a member of “Youth for Life” and NHS, and is an Eagle scout. James has a 3.6 GPA in honors classes, played #2 on the Golf team, and has volunteered for SOON, a learning center for challenged adults. Congratulations to Kyle and James.
